Kakatoosoysiists

Siksika Housing broke ground in August 2023 on the housing project titled Kakatoosoyiists (Star Lodges).  This project will deliver 16 one-bed one-bath transitional housing units, using 3D concrete printing technology with the help of Nidus 3D and the University of Calgary School of Architecture.  These homes were designed with input from Knowledge Keepers and Nation Members, incorporating Blackfoot ideas and themes in their design.  Below are some pictures and videos of the project.  For further information about this project, contact Housing Manager Ryan Hall at ryanh@siksikanation.com
